We are proud to announce that our very own Steve Price has been voted in as the next chairman of PACE.
PACE (Publicity Association of Central England), formerly the BPA (Birmingham Publicity Association) has been a stalwart of the Midland's media scene for over 65 years now and the list of past chairmen reads like a who's who of the industry.
On news of his appointment, Steve said: "I'm immensely proud to be taking the helm of this worthy old ship and I look forward to continuing the great work PACE does in raising valuable funds for deserving local charities and trying to bring our cynical little industry a bit closer together here in Birmingham and beyond."
He was also awarded, for the second time, the Longley Merit Cup to go along with the bling that is his ceremonial chain and the Gavel for which I'm sure he will annoy us all with.
I like how big his ear lobes have got nowadays. shame about the ugly statue on the left...
